Sadly, it has become a common practice to use words like “punk”, “hardcore” and even “antifascist” in a complacent way. People utilize these words to release them by self titling from critical self-reflection. Devoid of an intention to define them: without an emancipatory practice they are, at best, bland in statement.

means so much more?!
An empty phrase,
an empty core!
So sick of glorification,
there was no blissful past!
I’m not complaining ‘bout a loss,
coz there was never none
